How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I know that it's really hard to get a personal project rolling on a crowdfunding portal and I'm seeing many great artists and authors that have some difficulties to get to their fund mark.

I was thinking of thinking of trying a kickstarter on a project but I am not sure of what type of feedback I would get. I know that pageviews/favorites/comments shouldn't be considered as a true measure of actual followers or interested people in my artwork, but I'm pretty sure I don't have that base number of people that could at least give me a chance.

So what I now ask to whoever takes the time to kindly read this post is, would you be interested in my eventual project? I know there are many factors that can influence your answer (if it's fantasy, superhero, sci-fi, horror...) but I just want to know if there is at least an initial interest in what I could do.

I know I would have to start a mega spamming crusade and start hammering all the web medias ( something I'm not used to considering I'm pretty introvert

) but I wanted to know if anyone here on deviantart has some sort of interest or curiosity.

it all depends on what is. I have run 3 successful projects in that last 15 months. They are a lot of work but you never know until you try. That's what makes kickstarter so great, it gives you a chance to see if an idea will pick up traction or not. If it doesn't than you reevaluate on making it more appealing to the masses.

I dont know if you are interested but i just did a complete write up on creating a successful campaign. Im not tooting the horn here, I just feel what you are going through and have been there myself.
